About Romina
Romina Burnette serves as a Program Coordinator for Introduction to Careers in Healthcare (ITCH), where she helps connect students across Maryland's Mid-Shore with mentors, career clubs, and hands-on healthcare career experiences. She brings over a decade of HR, Total Rewards, and compliance leadership across the fintech, manufacturing, and healthcare industries, where she built leave and benefits programs, guided teams through M&A transitions, and led large-scale change management initiatives. She holds an MBA and a Master's in Human Resources Management, both from Marymount University, and is fluent in English and Spanish. Romina is passionate about building the systems and relationships that help people find and grow in meaningful careers, and she brings that same focus to strengthening the region's healthcare workforce pipeline.
